Evan is an ambitious young leader with a passion for languages and cultural connections to make a positive social impact. He is the first youth ambassador for the Peace Studio helping to bridge divides and connect with youth to break stereotypes. He created EvanWorldwide.com, a platform for young people to come together from around the world, getting to know each other, sharing culture and creating ideas about how to make the world a better place. Evan loves to document his travels and has created many videos and shorts highlighting food and culture. His Podcast Evan Worldwide Global Youth Perspectives features young leaders around the world talking about conflict, culture and cuisine. There are currently more than 20 countries represented with many more on the way.
Evan appeared as a contestant on Masterchef Junior Season 6, and learned amazing recipes and cooking skills while on the show with Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich, and Christina Tosi.
Since being on the show Evan has continued to cook, and has been a guest chef in restaurants, catered dinner parties and different nonprofit events. Evan joined the MasterChef Live Tour, traveling around the country performing and cooking live on stage.
Evan has raised over $100,000 for different non-profit organizations with his cooking talents. He has traveled to numerous countries exploring history, culture and the culinary arts. He loves sports and loves to cook for his family and friends. Evan can speak 3 languages, and is constantly teaching himself about other languages, cultures and geography. He is an active member of his school's Model United Nations team and aspires to be a Cultural Ambassador and Social Media Influencer. He recently has been accepted to a High School Social Entrepreneur Program connected with UPenn. Through this program Evan is working on a documentary pitch for his podcast, highlighting the Culture and Cuisine of countries all over the world through a youth perspective.
